East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice and AFC Kesgrave Fundraising Venture

AFC Kesgrave U13 and U14 teams for the 2011/12 season are excited to have entered into a fundraising agreement with the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH).

We appreciate that times are hard for all in this economic climate and the reliance in youth football clubs on one or two sponsors to pay for kit and equipment is getting harder and harder.

This is why we have decided to embark on this revolutionary venture.

This fundraising agreement is aimed at providing much need funds for EACH, whilst at the same time hopefully providing funds to purchase new match-day kit for both teams.

For every donation the club receive as a result of this venture, 50% will be donated to EACH.

AFC Kesgrave U13 and U14 teams will purchase the kits and pay for the EACH logo to be printed onto the front of the match-day shirts which is hoped will generate more interest. The more donations received, the more money for EACH, however large or small.

It is hoped that local businesses, organisations and even individuals will make donations in order to fund both participants.

If the age groups are fortunate enough to reach the sum needed to pay for the kit, 50% will continue to be donated to EACH from subsequent donations whilst the other 50% will go towards providing further equipment for the age groups whilst at the same time enabling the club to invest money into it’s Community Coaching Programme and also ensuring that the U8’s for the following season are able to be set up appropriately.

In conjunction with EACH, the age groups will also organise for collection tins to be located by the Tuck shop at all home games to hopefully generate EACH some more funds.

Going forward it may be something that the club as a whole can participate in.
